大学时候有一段短文背诵的特别熟。前段时间一次飞机旅行又看到这篇文章。题目叫:Everybody’s business is nobody’s business
原文:
There are four people named everybody, somebody, anybody and nobody. There was an important job to be done and everybody was asked to do it. Everybody was sure that somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but nobody did it. Some body got angry about that because it was everybody’s job. Everybody thought anybody could do it, but nobody realized that everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that everybody blamed somebody when nobody did what anybody could have done.
说的是,有四个人分别叫做:“每个人”、“某个人”、“任何人”和“没有人”。有一次,他们每个人都要被要求去完成一件重要的工作。大家都相信某个人会去做这件事。其实,任何人都可以完成这项工作的,但就是没有人去做。某个人对此感到非常气愤,因为这是大家的任务。每个人都认为任何人可以完成这件事,但没有人认识到大家都不会去做这件事。结果呢,当没有人去做其实任何人都可以做到的事情的时候,每个人都在抱怨某个人。
首先我们是一个团队,存在每个人,每个人都应该有各自的职责。
但是有时职责不清,赏罚不明,很可能就会出现仰仗某个人的现象。
尤其是任何人都可以做的小事,比如在酒店行业,餐厅的清洁工作,任何人都想其他人会做的。最终会衍化成没有人做。
其实,我们在组织行为学中有一个简单的公式就已经说明:责任/2=0。
每个人的工作和岗位职责按公司的目标量化那个这个公司的效率就足以产生强大的生产力。
就像当初李践老师一次在总结风驰传媒为什么如此快速发展时,总结了一点,叫千斤重担有人挑,人人头上有指标。
If everybody has a definite responsibility and is sure that anybody could become somebody if work hard, then nobody would not do one’s best to realize himself or herself.
如果每个人有明确的职责,并且意识到只要努力工作就可以出人头地,没有人不会尽最大努力来成就自己。
