Aegean Exporters`Associatians are professionalinstitutions repersenting the exporters. They were first established in 1937.They can be regarded as semi-governmental organizations since they operate under the auspieces of the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade.They also act as a bridge between the exporters and the govetnment. The Aegean Exproters`Associations,estabilshed in1939,are situated in the western part of Turkey,a region famous with its agricultural and agroindustry,natural stone,textiles and leather potential. In 2003,exprrt volume from this region was apprwximaterly 3,9 billion USD.
